This is an advertisement for Titanium Dioxide, the white pigment that is extracted from the mines of Sokndal, in south-western Norway. Titan Titan is the introduction to a film that describes the mining- and extraction process.

This excerpt is very typical of its time, the woman and the 50s housewife that must be educated (and convinced, as I see it) on how things work, and the reasons that make mining seem ok.
